The man Adam was innocent when he lived with Eve in the Garden of Eden after creation. But after Eve was deceived and tricked by a man-like serpent, Adam gave up his innocence and became one with his wife Eve after the flesh. This sin separated him from his Father the Creator, so that he and Eve could no longer stay there. Therefore God removed them from that paradise in the Garden and he was forced to work by the sweat of his brow. Eve would henceforth bear children in pain. They needed redemption so that they could return to that state of oneness with their Creator.

Jesus, son of Mary, was born to fulfill the Scripture spoken by the prophets. With God as His Father, this second Adam was led by the Holy Spirit of God as He grew up living a sinless life. As the Son of Man, Jesus began and fulfilled an earthly ministry, ending in his crucifixion near Jerusalem. By the death of this innocent Lamb, God redeemed man of all sin. Therefore everyone who believes in Him, follows Jesus' example of being baptized and dying to self, is reconciled to the Creator. God accepts the death of His One and Only Son, as well as our faith in Him, and  offers us the gift of eternal life.

The grave couldn't hold Him. So after 3 days, Jesus the Son of God miraculously rose from the dead and proved He was alive, and then instructed the 11 remaining disciples - before being taken up to heaven in glory. These chosen men went from Galilee to Jerusalem to await the coming of God's promised Holy Spirit. "And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." (Eph. 4:9-11)
